Anyway, whats up with me, My girlfriend broke up with me during the winter break and I ended up finding a new one fairly quickly. haha that was by accident, but things are going good! SAVE THE INTERNET

Dear friend,

I just emailed Congress to urge them to oppose the Internet Blacklist Legislation, known as the PROTECT-IP Act in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House. This legislation seeks to give the executive branch power to conduct slash-and-burn campaigns against websites that allegedly host – or even link to – content that infringes on intellectual property rights. That would “disappear” whole domain names, fundamentally undermining Internet security, and/or choke off their financial support. The Internet Blacklist Legislation puts more sites than ever at risk, effectively upending the DMCA safe harbors that have been crucial to the growth of Internet innovation and creativity.

Sadly, these short-sighted and dangerous bills won’t do much to stop online infringement – but they will jeopardize our ability to speak and read online with the kind of freedom we cherish in the offline world. Deep-pocketed Hollywood lobbyists are aggressively pushing to control and censor the open Internet, willing to sacrifice free speech and our Internet culture in hopes of controlling how people view their movies and products.

Wednesday from hell! (or not)

Wednesdays this semester are proving to be a living nightmare for me because I have every class I am taking except one all in one day! Its ridiculous! but oh well, I guess its too late to do anything about that. The reason I am telling you this is because something awesome happened today! My last 2 classes were cancelled were cancelled by my professors! guess that means I'm goin' to Walmart!

Things that are new!

Well, I haven't posted in a while because of my extremem busyness at college. Last monday I finally got out of my old dorm and my new roommates are great! I even found out that one of them lives very close to me so I took him home this weekend and got him some money working with me for my uncle (he pays me under the table to help him do stuff around his house).
That being said I am thinking about starting on a new toy/project, a chainsaw bike! \
Here are the details:
- 9 tooth sprocket stepped to a 48 tooth that is on the same central axis as another 9 tooth running another 48 at the pedal arm connection so that I can leave the bike gears alone and be able to have variable gears.
The theory:
- with this setup I should be able to turn the pedal axis 5.33 times per second at 4hp where a normal person could do almost 2 at 1.9hp.
seeing as a normal person can go 20 miles per hour this bike should be able to do about 60 mph but will most likely do less due to friction.

Home again! + great news!

Well, as can see from my title, I'm back home again! everything is going well here. I got to come back a day early because of the college's pitiful "fall break" that consists of one day(hardly a break). Anyway, to the good news! I got a new room specifically and I think that my new roommates are gonna be awesome! I visited them and they are all in similar majors to mine. They also seem to be more civilized and mature, like myself. The big plus is that none of them chew or pack lip as some may say. hopefully I'll be in Monday night or sometime Tuesday.

The Nights Shenanigans

Well, last night, I woke the roommate of mine, known as stinky from my first post, to holler at him about writing yet another offensive note to me. I have to do stuff like this because a simple "I don't like it when you do this" doesn't seem to suffice with any of them. So, he decided to call the college police into our room. Being the more intelligent one of the argument, I pulled out all of his offensive notes and pictures that I saved and explained to the cop that he had been harassing me all semester. hahahaha... He got in trouble and I get a new room rushed to me!

What happened this dreary day.

Today, being a Wednesday, tends to be my busiest day of the week. That being said, I thought that it would be a good experiment to see how many reads this one gets. First off, I didn't sleep good last night and that never makes things easy, especially when you have an 8am math class to get up to do. After struggling through that, I have my intro to networking class at 9:30am. Today for that class wasn't bad. The professor assigned a group project so I got to get up and talk to my group to figure out when we were going to meet and figure things out for it. Then, I have Information, Technology, and Society. That class is garbage, but I am required to take it! What that class does is teach you how to use Microsoft office. That is entirely ridiculous seeing as I don't know how I would have gotten through high school without knowing that stuff! Well, after that, I have a writing class, First year experience (also useless), and java programming. All of which were fairly normal class days except for the fact that it rained all day and I had to bike to my classes through the rain.
